Bringing the next generation of innovators face to face with possibility, the CSIRO #WithSTEMYouCan Careers Expo transformed Sydney locations into an energetic hub of learning, exploration, and inspiration.

Across the day, high school students stepped out of the classroom and into a vibrant showcase of STEM pathways and career opportunities. The event connected young people with professionals, researchers, and industry leaders who shared insights into their work and sparked ideas for futures in science, technology, engineering, and maths.

Inside the event space, students moved between interactive displays and conversation zones designed to make discovery feel accessible and exciting. Exhibitors ranged from cutting-edge research teams to local employers, offering hands-on activities, demonstrations, and real-world advice.

A dedicated workshop program ran alongside the expo, with live presentations spotlighting diverse STEM careers and the many ways students could turn curiosity into impact.

The Careers Expo also created space for connection: students were encouraged to ask questions, network, and imagine the pathways that could unfold beyond graduation. Whether it was a first introduction to STEM or a chance to dive deeper, the event left participants with fresh perspective and renewed confidence.

Every element - from the floor plan design to exhibitor coordination and program delivery - was planned to create a welcoming, energising experience that put opportunity within reach.
