AI 4 CLIMATE SYMPOSIUM

PAX: 120

LOCATION: State Library Victoria

The AI 4 Climate Symposium brought together over 120 leading minds from across industry, government, and academia - uniting experts in AI and climate science to shape the future of climate AI research in Australia and beyond.

Held over two days, guests were welcomed into a carefully curated space designed to foster open discussion and a sense of shared purpose. A mix of keynote addresses, panels, and focused individual sessions punctuated the agenda, while deep-dive workshops laid the groundwork for tangible next steps and future plans.

International guest speakers from the UK and US added global perspective and fresh insight to the conversation, enriching dialogue and energising the room.

In a standout feature of the event, live visual note taking was integrated across both days. As sessions unfolded, a skilled illustrator captured key themes and insights in real time - drawing directly on an iPad and projecting the evolving visuals for all to see. This dynamic, interactive element helped bring ideas to life and gave attendees a shared visual narrative to follow throughout the program
